Angusfield House Care Home

Our Care at Angusfield House Care Home

We offer a person-centred approach that is delivered through quality care, recreation and activities, and food and dining. A relative told the inspectors in the last report, “I was really pleased when I arrived to find that my relative was out for a trip, she did not often go out, and this has made a big difference to her since moving here, and there is always something going on”.

  • In 2023 we supported over 200 families with their care enquiry to the team at Angusfield House. A family member commented after their visit: “My mum has always had the best of care from the most lovely and caring staff that you could wish for. They make a world of difference. It is always difficult to leave when visiting, but I know she is at home and is not treated as a resident, but as family.” taken from the independent website carehome.co.uk

We are here to help, so please get in touch with our friendly team.

Key Information

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that brighterkind and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to brighterkind or the Four Seasons Health Care Group as a result of your conversation or contract.

Trusted Feedback from Families & Residents

We visited Angusfield as a potential care home for my mother. Bob the manager was excellent and spent some time with us to understand mother’s needs and to explain to us the ins and outs of care. He followed this with a tour of the home where he clearly knows all of the residents and takes the time to have a chat with them. All in all very impressed with the home and the staff

Ratings and Reviews

We are inspected by the Care Inspectorate. In 2022, we were assessed as being Good or Very Good in all areas but one. This area was addressed immediately and our Home Manager would be happy to go through changes that were put in place at the time.

Inspectors said, “We saw that people were enjoying visits from relatives in addition to trips out to the local community. Regular activities such as the ‘football club’ and lunch club’ within the local community were ongoing which people attended on a regular basis. People had been supported to maintain contact with family and friends, and we spoke to a number of relatives who told us; ‘Staff are always available’ and ‘Staff are always very welcoming and let us know how our relative has been’.”
