Announcing brighterkind's CREATE Challenge!
Following on from the creative workshop training that all our homes Magic Moments Club Coordinators have received, all brighterkind homes and residents will be getting involved in a creative inter-home challenge and a little bit of friendly competition!
Throughout December, residents at brighterkind care homes enjoyed special activities and events to celebrate the festive season and all the joy which surrounds it.
Christmas is a time for enjoying the company of family and friends, delicious food and drink, music, dancing and festivities - and that’s certainly what we did! Every one of our care homes has enjoyed a busy seasonal calendar, including festive trips out, pantomimes, carol concerts, craft activities, Christmas parties, visits from our local schools and members of our community (including some very sweet Reindeer and Miniature ponies), and of course a chance to meet Father Christmas who came bearing gifts galore!
Come along to our homes Open Day events throughout February and help them work out 'who dunnit?'. Each home will have a different mystery that you can help them solve to work out who that naughty culprit is.
Dates and times will vary from home to home, so please contact your nearest brighterkind care home to find out more. Everyone is welcome!
On 7th December, brighterkind homes up and down the country channelled their Inner Elves and donned their best elf costumes in a bid to raise as much money as they can for the Alzheimer's Society.
Three members of the brighterkind team have been selected for the finals categories in the National Care Awards 2018.
