Christmas time calls for family, friends, festivities and good food! Eating well means living well, so nutrition and varied, high quality menus sit at the heart of the brighterkind’s philosophy. One such threat is sepsis, a severe medical condition that occurs when the body's response to an infection triggers a chain reaction, leading to widespread inflammation throughout the body. This condition can be life threatening, especially for older people due to weakened immune systems and age-related health issues.
