Care at Meyrick Rise has always been associated with our large gardens surround the building with a beautiful Sun trapped patio to the rear of the home.
Residential Care at Meyrick Rise
Our beautiful home is set out over 3 floors and the rooms are described as E1 or W1 depending on which side of the building they are on, we also have lounges called Portland and Studland on our First Floor. We have a variety of beautiful lounges set across 3 floors, landscaped gardens and level patio some rooms have French doors to their own Private patio area. Large open Dining room, Beautiful Bistro/café Bar on 1st floor. Our local hospitals are Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH) and Poole Hospital.
Residents have enjoyed trips regularly to the beach for fish n chips, to the various Chines along the Bournemouth coast, to The New Forrest, to a variety of National trust homes and buildings and parks, we can take them to the Ballet or theatre should they wish to go, we have a minibus so regularly are going out. Some residents received Veterans medals on our Veterans day presentation, along with army and Mayor.
People often comment on the warm friendly atmosphere of the home, how it feels like a hotel with love, how the team go above and beyond their duties for the residents and their families.
Caring for complex needs
This is for residents with more complex healthcare needs, and who require the supervision of fully qualified nurses. This might involve frequent medication regimes, wound care, constant assessment, monitoring and care planning.
Round-the-clock specialised service
Our registered nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and specialise in providing therapeutic care for our residents. They are supported by our highly skilled carers, who assist with all aspects of personal care and support.
