A Warm Welcome to Mill House Care Home in Witney

You'll find Mill House Care Home in the heart of the beautiful ancient market town Witney in Oxfordshire.

Excellently situated, the home is centrally located near to all of the market town’s amenities, including shops, restaurants, a cinema and the tranquil church green. Our home is set across three floors, and there are communal lounges and dining rooms on the ground floor, as well as a lovely garden, meaning peace and quiet is never far away.

Mill House was rated ‘Outstanding’ in their responsiveness and ‘Good’ overall in their latest CQC report and has an excellent reputation. “People received person-centred care. Staff demonstrated their in-depth knowledge of people’s histories, their likes and dislikes and how they wished to be supported. This knowledge was used to support people in a way they felt valued as unique individuals and respected for who they were” said the Inspector in recent CQC report.

To help residents love every day, we have an ever-changing activities programme inspired by our current residents’ interests and needs.

  • Tai Chi sessions,
  • Trips to the local garden centre
  • Regular visits from the local school children for inter-generational fun (keeps us on our toes)
  • Virtual reality sessions, for example taking a city tour or even swimming with dolphins

There is something for everyone and if nothing tickles your fancy, we’ll try to create something for you.

Key Information

We provide care for those paying for their own care and in some cases where there might also be a contribution from the local authority or NHS Trust. For those paying for their own care we provide an indicative weekly fee.  For those fully or partly funded by public funds, we may require an additional top up contribution.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that brighterkind and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to brighterkind as a result of your conversation or contract.
