Mill House Care Home is a dedicated nursing home with a specialism in palliative care. We are located centrally in the small market town of Witney in Oxfordshire. Parking is available for visiting family members. We have a secure and private garden and conservatory with grass and a patio seating area. We are also very close to some local shops.
The team at Mill House closely with Stobell House Hospice and Churchill Hospital and can support you keeping your local GP if they are happy to continue with you under their care. Our team are kind and compassionate and well trained in caring for individuals on end of life or requiring palliative care.
The team are fully trained in the delivery of palliative care medication and pain management.
Nursing & Palliative Care
Providing dedicated care we provide a range of professional and personal services to match the needs of each and every one of our wonderful residents. Our nursing unit specialises in palliative care and is led by our deputy home manager who is a registered general nurse.
Caring for complex needs
This is for residents with more complex healthcare needs, and who require the supervision of fully qualified nurses. This might involve frequent medication regimes, wound care, constant assessment, monitoring and care planning.
Round-the-clock specialised service
Our registered nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and specialise in providing therapeutic care for our residents. They are supported by our highly skilled carers, who assist with all aspects of personal care and support.
