brighterkind is celebrating its part in winning an award for “best for clinical facilities” in the National Care Home Awards Scheme,
Fiona Millington, Director of Nursing for brighterkind, said: “We have invested in supporting our Registered Nurses and senior care staff in our nursing homes with additional clinical training to develop their skills and understanding of the therapeutic care of older people.
“The judges in the National Care Awards Scheme commented on our focus on developing a positive team culture to deliver a better resident experience, which is summed up in our strapline of love every day.”
Fiona Millington said: “It was quite an accolade because we didn’t enter ourselves into the award scheme, but we were initially nominated by a third party and then the judges got in touch with us.”
The National Care Home Awards are run in association with Care Home Management magazine.
