Some partnerships are highly visible to residents and families as they directly and positively impact activities and events in our home or our food and dining experience. We work with other partners who provide invaluable infrastructure that supports our drive to continuously improve the quality of care we provide. University of Bournemouth

Bournemouth University

Four Seasons Health Care Group has partnered with Bournemouth University Ageing and Dementia Research Centre for the care sector’s largest independent study to date into the impact of a new dementia strategy.  The 18-month long study began in 2022 and has tracked the development of 230 Dementia Champions across all Four Seasons care homes during over 5,000 workshop sessions. The study has confirmed the benefit and impact to carers of evidence based experiential learning to help dementia carers expand their knowledge about person-centred dementia care. Embrace Living

Embrace Living

Our partnership with Embrace Living focuses on delivering interactive, engaging, and entertaining content designed to uplift and energise everyone involved – from residents to staff, and their families. What sets Embrace Living apart is the weekly variety show, tailored to stimulate both mind and body while fostering a strong sense of community. Viewers can look forward to a mix of sing-along music sessions, interactive games, educational segments, and personalised shout-outs, all aimed at promoting an active and joyful lifestyle.

 

Just a doodle partnership with Four Seasons

Just A Doodle

Just A Doodle creates engaging content and activities for our residents. This includes weekly activity packs, newsletters, quizzes, and themed events that help our residents both reminisce and have fun.  As part of our partnership, Just a Doodle also run online art sessions as a means of rekindling our residents’ love for creativity, play, and experimentation. So far this has included calligraphy workshops, origami, and watercolour tutorials as well as themed sessions. Overall, the sessions aim to help to enhance residents’ well-being and ensure an enriching experience for everyone at our care homes.

DanceSing enriching lives

danceSing

danceSing offers a unique and enriching experience for care home residents on the Magic Moments Portal, Four Seasons Health Care Group’s digital wellbeing platform. Through the combination of music, movement, and non-stop radio, danceSing promotes physical activity, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being among residents. Our current residents enjoy a wide range of on demand and live sessions offered in partnership with danceSing, including: Chair Yoga, Movement with Natalie, The Kiaya Show, Chair Pilates and Singing with Alan.  

danceSing’s specially designed programs cater to the diverse needs of the elderly, fostering a sense of community and joy. The benefits of music and movement in the care sector are numerous, including improved mobility, enhanced mood, and the opportunity for social interaction. The non-stop appropriate radio provided through our Portal also ensures a continuous flow of uplifting and familiar tunes, and engagement 24hours a day creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff. You can rest assured that our danceSing partnership is dedicated to enhancing the overall quality of life for residents through the power of music and movement.

partnership with eldercate

We are delighted to work in partnership with eldercate, an innovative provide of learning and education for older people. eldercate provides the neural stimulation so vital in maturity to build new synaptic connections and social connections so vital to our well being and longevity.  Our residents have enjoyed Spanish lessons, French lessons, Photography and Calligraphy.  Together we host a weekly Book Club with Katrina, easily accessed through our Magic Moments Portal.

Creative Mojo

Creative Mojo

Our residents enjoy creating a new large artwork each month, linked to theme for the month. Creative Mojo provide each home with an art activity pack to get the creative juices flowing. Accessible for all, each art kit is tailored for all abilities including people with advanced dementia. They include bespoke die cut shapes, full step-by-step instructions and inspirational photographs for team. Look out for the latest piece of art showcased in the home you visit.

 

Brakes

Our care homes are supplied with the highest quality fresh ingredients from brakes’ nationwide network. Working with brakes ensures we can trace our food back to source and ensure each care home is able to offer a food, beverage and dining experience of the same quality based on seasonal ingredients.  We create a varied and seasonal menu with input from our residents and this is complemented by a specials menu.  brakes help us deliver on our promise to make dining special for our residents.

Oranka juices

Oranka

We work with Oranka to offer Orange, Apple, Blackcurrant, Pineapple and Watermelon juices to residents. The juices do not contain any added colourants or artificial flavouring and are designed to maximise appeal to residents, encourage greater fluid intake which can improve overall wellbeing and reduce the instance of falls.
