A very happy birthday to our lovely resident Betty who celebrated her centenary here at The Lawns Care Home recently.
Betty’s family joined the celebrations via a Zoom video call and watched as Magic Moments Club Coordinator Helen gave a speech and presented Betty with a commemorative medal from The RAF to honour her nursing service during World War II.
Home Manager Karen said, “We were delighted to help Betty celebrate and she was over the moon to receive her medal and a very special card from HM The Queen.”
The Lawns Care Home is located in Oadby, Leicestershire and provides residential care and respite care.
