Victoria is a traditional quilt maker, stitch-er and a teacher who served the Royal School of Needlework before she became a military embroiderer.
Today she visited Henleigh Hall Care Home to share her love for strong colours in her traditional quilting with a twist.
Victoria, is the daughter-in-law of resident Jean Walker who always shared stories of Victoria’s art work and her time in the military. Finally, the other residents were able to meet her!
Resident Martin said: "What an incredibly interesting person, the activity was great fun – it’s always nice to do something different!”
Everyone had a lovely time getting to know Victoria and learning how to quilt.
Henleigh Hall Care Home is located in Beauchief, Sheffield and provides residential care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care.
