Henleigh Hall’s Christmas Fayre raises £400 for Grace Food Bank

Henleigh Hall Care Home’s Christmas Fayre has raised an incredible £400 for Grace Food Bank in Sheffield!

Residents and team members welcomed friends and family for the festive occasion and had stalls with jewellery, clothes, cards, gifts, cakes and Body Shop goodies as well as a raffle and tombola.

The Fayre proceeds of £400 was used to buy items that Grace Food Bank are currently most in need of and will be distributed to people in the Sheffield S8 and S17 postcodes and close surrounding areas.

Resident, Jennie, also ran a stall for Parkinson’s UK who she has raised more than £5,000 for over the years and said: “I had a stall full of handmade gifts and managed to raise some more money for Parkinson’s, it was a lovely afternoon.”

Home Manager, Lindsey, said: “It was fabulous to see so many people at our fayre to support our fundraising for the Grace Food Bank and Parkinson’s UK. We all bought some lovely Christmas gifts and it was a wonderful way to kick off the festive season.”

Henleigh Hall Care Home is located in Beauchief, Sheffield and provides residential carenursing carepalliative care and respite care.
