"These wildflowers our residents have potted to give to our community are a symbol of our thanks and hope for the future.”
Everyone here at Houndswood House Care Home would like to thank our local community for all the support you have shown us over the last few months.
As a gesture of appreciation and to spread the kindness, our residents have been busy potting wildflower seeds which we have been giving out to people to grow in their own gardens.
Home Manager Francisca said, “We’ve been overwhelmed by the lovely gifts and gestures of kindness we’ve received during these difficult times. From lovely pictures sent by local children to cakes and flowers, we have all been so touched. The colourful wildflowers our residents have potted to give to our community are a symbol of our thanks and hope for the future.”
We are all looking forward to seeing family, friends and our local communities who have supported us so wonderfully again soon. In the meantime, if you would like to send us photos of you with your wildflower pots or keep us updated on their progress as they start to grow, please send them in to celebrations@brighterkind.com or post them to twitter using the hashtag #Communityflowersofthanks
