"Just look at the beaming smiles on our residents’ faces, how lovely and so thoughtful"
The residents at Henleigh Hall Care Home received a very special delivery recently when the postie brought a parcel full of sunshine and rainbows!
Suzanne, a friend of our home, works at Bole Hill Nursery in Sheffield and worked with the children, aged 3 and 4, to paint some lovely pictures to bring cheer to our residents whilst visiting is restricted.
The colourful pictures were accompanied by a letter which said, “We picked sunshine and rainbows because they make us smile – we hope you like them.”
Home Manager Lindsey said, “Just look at the beaming smiles on our residents’ faces, how lovely and so thoughtful. Many thanks to everyone at Bole Hill Nursery for taking the time to do this for us, we are very grateful.”
brighterkind care homes have set up a new initiative called ‘Postcard Pals’ and are inviting people in our local communities to send in their drawings, letters and cards so we can share them with our residents to keep them connected and cheery and bring a smile to their faces.

Thank you in advance for any postcards of happiness sent into our home, they really bring us such joy!
