Cookridge Court Care Home hosts breakfast club to say ‘thank you’ to our West Yorkshire ‘Blue Light’ professionals

On 29th November, Cookridge Court Care Home in Leeds hosted a ‘Blue Light Professionals’ breakfast club. It’s a way of saying a huge thank you for all the hard work and service that members of the emergency services and healthcare professionals give to the local community!

5 members of the Red Watch branch of West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, led by Watch Commander, Mick Loney as well as Gwen Oates, Memory Support Worker for the Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, came along to Cookridge Court for bacon butties and coffee. They were joined by our resident John Crawford, who regaled them with stories of his time in the forces!

Fiona Adamson, Business Development Manager said, “We are really keen to build a relationship with our hard-working service and healthcare professionals. They work tirelessly to keep us all safe and we just wanted to say thank you in some small way”.
