On 5th December, Glebefields Care Home in Banbury hosted a ‘Blue Light Professionals’ breakfast club as a way of saying a huge thank you for all the hard work and service that members of the emergency and healthcare professionals give to the local community.
5 members of the Oxfordshire, Banbury Fire & Rescue Service and 3 members of the Thames Valley Police, Banbury Station, came along to Glebefields to enjoy bacon butties, croissants and coffee. All of the service personnel were given ‘goody bags’ as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and service to the community!
Fiona Adamson, Business Development Manager says “We are really keen to build a relationship with our hard-working service and healthcare professionals. They work tirelessly to keep us all safe and we just wanted to say thank you in some small way. We will be hosting the Breakfast Club every 1st Wednesday in the month and would like as many of our emergency service and healthcare personnel to join us for breakfast!”
