Avery House Care Home in Peterborough have been celebrating the magic of storytelling at a Mad Hatters Tea party.
Residents invited their family and friends to join them for an afternoon down a 'rabbit hole' for scrumptious cakes washed down with lashings of 'Drink Me' tea!
Members of the team dressed up as characters from 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and the mums and children from our Jo-Jingles classes also came along for story time and gingerbread men decorating.
Laura Judd, Activities Coordinator said "We had a super afternoon sharing stories and remembering our favourite books from our childhoods. Our residents love spending time with the children from Jo Jingles and it was great to see the different generations enjoying the stories together."
