On 27th February, residents and team members at Hempton Field Care Home in Chinnor hosted an afternoon full of magic with a Mad Hatter’s tea party for relatives and neighbours in the community.
In the lead up to the tea party, residents were busy designing and making hats that symbolised their favourite book or story. The guests then had to guess what book each hat was supposed to represent. In addition to the extravagant hats, the Hempton Field’s team came dressed in fancy dress which the guests were also invited to do.
Senior carer, Dee Peake, said: “It was so much fun to do and it got everyone involved including team members from each department and people from our community.”.
