All the fun of the pantomime came to Woodbury House Care Home in Swallowfield on 16th December when we were treated to a performance of Aladdin by Troubadour Productions, from Reading.
We decided a panto was the perfect way to get into the festive spirit and the actors did a brilliant job - our Activities Coordinator Irene even landed herself a part as The Genie of the Lamp!
We invited our resident's family and friends to join us for the show and afterwards everyone enjoyed a festive buffet and a slice of Christmas cake, homemade by our Senior Carer and part time Chef, Vilma.
Irene said “We all had a great time. It was a really excellent performance and the lounge was fuller than we had ever seen it before - we had to keep getting extra chairs as more and more people arrived which was brilliant."
Woodbury House Care Home is located in Swallowfield, Berkshire and provides dementia care, nursing care, palliative care, residential care and respite care.
