On 1st December, Kingston Care Home in Surrey enjoyed some Scottish celebrations for St Andrews Day.
We welcomed a local Scotsman, Andy, to come and tell us all about the Scottish patron saint and were delighted when he brought out his bagpipes and performed for us. Our Activities Coordinator Edna dressed for the occasion in a kilt and even had a go at playing the pipes.
Edna said "We thoroughly enjoyed our Scottish celebrations and were so impressed by Andy's bagpipe playing. It's quite an experience to hear live piping and we are all very grateful to him for coming in to perform for us."
Kingston Care Home is located in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and provides nursing care, palliative care, residential care and respite care.
