Residents of Westbury Court Care Home enjoyed celebrating National Shortbread Day with a delicious activity.
Here at Westbury Court, we loving baking, so our residents were very eager to make a delicious treat for National Shortbread Day.
We used our very own brighterkind recipe and it was delicious! We all found it very easy to follow and it made for a lovely afternoon.
Resident Rena said: “The shortbread was very nice but we never put sugar on the top of ours up north!”
Magic Moments Coordinator, Linda said: “It was good to see our residents enjoying baking. It brought back memories for everyone of when they used to cook at home.”
