On 23rd July, we organised a picnic to Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London for our residents at Uplands Care Home.
The Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship that was built on the River Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line. She was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development.
The residents accompanied by team members and their relatives enjoyed the fresh air, sunshine and the amazing sights.
Uplands Care Home is located in Streatham, London and provides dementia care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care.
