On 11th April, Ashbourne Court Care Home granted two Wishing Well wishes for residents Ann Lewis and Mary Langdowne. Ann used to love spending her free time browsing round garden centres with her husband and Mary loves flowers and shopping so activity coordinator organised a day trip out for the pair.
They started the day shopping and each treated themselves to some lovely new clothes and then went for a wander around Wyevale garden centre in Andover.
Paula, a member of staff at the garden centre donated 3 trays of bedding plants and a plant each as a special treat for the ladies. They had a great time and were laughing and joking all afternoon.
Right from the beginning we try to get an understanding of our residents, finding out about their life story and getting to know the things they would really like to do via our Wishing Well Programme so that we can help to make their wishes a reality.
