garden and grounds at Angusfield House

Admire the outdoors

We are surrounded by well-maintained gardens here at Angusfield House, including a recent expansion to our dementia unit’s garden. We have a seated potting shed area for those residents keen to exercise their green fingers and a washing line for those wanting to carry out some of life’s daily tasks.

There is also a large patio surrounded by mature trees. There’s outdoor seating where we regularly serve afternoon tea and meals when the weather is fine.

FAQ

Can residents do their own gardening?

While many of our residents are happy to sit back and enjoy the garden and the wildlife, some of our more green-fingered residents love to get stuck in. We encourage them to plant flowers and vegetables for all the residents and staff to enjoy. And our seated potting area means that less able-bodied residents can be involved too.
