Relax, socialise, get involved
There are communal lounges on each floor, for the residents to use at their leisure. There’s also a quiet lounge available to all residents.
Whether you’re entertaining your family and friends, spending time with other residents or taking part in activities, our living rooms are ideal. It’s always up to you whether you want to get involved with activities – you’re more than welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Our communal lounge spaces are very popular with the residents and they’re where a lot of the socialising in the home takes place, as well as in the dining rooms. And our activities often get residents talking about their lives and experiences in a fun, relaxed setting.
How can residents spend private time with their relatives?
There is a dedicated quiet lounge in the Charlton Unit where families enjoy the peace and quiet together. You’re also free to use any of the home or gardens, or your own room, to meet with your visitors.
Are residents free to come and go around the home as they please?
Of course. This is your home and all the communal areas are here for you to enjoy. If you’d rather spend the day in your room, that’s your choice too.
