Admire the outdoors
Henleigh Hall is surrounded by beautiful gardens and adjacent to a large park, which can be accessed from a bridge beside the home. We have a lovely lawn at the front of the property, with seating areas, a small water feature and mature planting areas.
There are raised beds for budding gardeners and a patio with outdoor seating at the back of the home where we regularly serve afternoon tea, and meals when the weather is fine. The landscaped grounds are beautifully maintained and are a pleasure to walk around.
Can residents do their own gardening?
While many of our residents are happy to sit back and enjoy the garden and the wildlife, some of our more green-fingered residents love to get stuck in. We encourage them to plant flowers and vegetables for all the residents and staff to enjoy. And our raised beds mean that wheelchair users are also able to join in with the gardening.
