We have 40 bedrooms set across two floors with several suites and we can accommodate husband and wife couples. We’ve got a real mix of rooms from smaller non en-suites and medium-sized rooms with two-piece en-suites to large suites with wet room facilities. We think carefully about the type of room each resident needs. Some of our rooms offer patio doors onto our gardens. Room with a view? Many of our rooms have great views over the Bath valley or over our gardens.

All our rooms are furnished to the highest specifications with your comfort in mind. Your bedroom furniture consists of: an appropriate bed suitable to your needs, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside chest, a desk, a television, easy chair and a visitor’s chair.
Personalise your space
We understand that moving into Ivybank House will be a considerable transition, but one we try to make feel as easy as possible. Your room is your own personal space, which is why we encourage you to personalise your room if you like, by hanging your favourite pictures or bringing small pieces of furniture.

What changes can I make to the room?
We encourage people to make the rooms their own. Quite a few of our residents will ask us to take out pieces of our furniture to make room for some of their own from home. Others bring loads of stuff and really make it their own.
