Inviting spaces for fantastic food
Our dining rooms always become a hub of conversation and laughter during mealtimes. We have a menu ordering system, so residents can choose a day in advance what they’d like, but we always have daily menus on the tables.
For those residents who require it, we always offer a visual choice of meals, so we can be sure they’re getting what they really want. Every resident has a food 'passport' so that dietary preferences are respected. If you have special dietary requirements, have a chat with us, we can cater for most diets including for diabetes, religious preferences and soft diets.
There’s a three-course lunch and two-course dinner every day, and we enjoy a cooked breakfast three mornings a week. Whether it’s tea and cakes in the garden or a roast each Sunday, we encourage our residents to make the most of living in a friendly environment and enjoy the company of others.
We do a lot of home baking at St Margarets. Biscuits and cakes are baked daily with our home made cakes served in the afternoon. We always bake a special birthday cake for residents.
What you want, when you want it
Of course, when, where and who you eat with is entirely up to you – your meals can be brought to your room, and friends and family can join you as often as you’d like (at a small charge).
Our kitchen is open from 7am to 7pm, but our extras menu gives you the option to order snacks and drinks when you want them.
