Admire the outdoors
St Margaret's has a large main garden with flower beds and a herb garden, which can be accessed from the ground floor. We also have apple trees. There are also two large patio gardens used by residents on the first and second floors. From there we have fantastic views of Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags.
Residents can safely and easily use the garden areas on their own, and we often have afternoon tea outside when the weather is fine. We have a large number of bird tables and receive lots of wildlife visitors to the grounds.
Can residents do their own gardening?
While many of our residents are happy to sit back and enjoy the garden and the wildlife, some of our more green-fingered residents love to get stuck in. Our flower beds and herb garden make this possible.
