Relax, socialise, get involved
On the ground floor there are two spacious lounges as well as a light and airy conservatory with views over the cricket field. Upstairs, there are a further two smaller lounges as well as a quiet seating area on the landing.
Whether you’re entertaining your family and friends, spending time with other residents or taking part in activities, our living rooms are ideal. It’s always up to you whether you want to get involved with activities – you’re more than welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Our communal lounge spaces are very popular with the residents and they’re where a lot of the socialising in the home takes place. A lot of residents get to know each other over a cup of tea in the lounge or while they’re watching TV.
How can residents spend private time with their relatives?
Our Purple Lounge is the perfect place to spend time privately with family. You’re also free to use any of the home or gardens, or your own room, to meet with your visitors.
Are residents free to come and go around the home as they please?
Of course. This is your home and all the communal areas are here for you to enjoy. If you’d rather spend the day in your room, that’s your choice too.
