Relax, socialise, get involved

Two communal lounges, a seated balcony area and a conservatory are spread out across the building, meaning peace and quiet is never far away. The lounges are quiet and relaxing, and we often have background music playing for residents to enjoy.

Whether you’re entertaining your family and friends, spending time with other residents or taking part in activities, our living rooms are ideal. It’s always up to you whether you want to get involved with activities – you’re more than welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Making friends

Our communal lounge spaces are very popular with the residents and they’re where a lot of the socialising in the home takes place, as well as in the dining rooms. And our activities often get residents talking about their lives and experiences in a fun, relaxed setting.

FAQ

How can residents spend private time with their relatives?

In the Cotswold Unit there is a lovely lounge that’s often vacant for residents to bring relatives for some privacy. With so many different communal spaces, it’s not hard to find some peace and quiet at Tewkesbury Fields. You’re also free to use any of the home or gardens, or your own room, to meet with your visitors.

Are residents free to come and go around the home as they please?

Of course. This is your home and all the communal areas are here for you to enjoy. If you’d rather spend the day in your room, that’s your choice too.
