Admire the outdoors

Our lovely garden is a really important part of life here. We have mature trees, flower beds and an abundance of outdoor seating so residents and their relatives can make the most of the outdoors.

For those who enjoy pottering around the garden, planting seeds, and helping with the upkeep, there’s more than enough garden to go around. For those who prefer to sit back and relax, we hold a number of fun activities outside during the summer months. Last year we had our Best Dog Show and a throw the wellie competition.

FAQ

Can residents do their own gardening?

Some of our more green-fingered residents love to get stuck in. We encourage them to plant flowers and vegetables for all the residents and staff to enjoy. And our raised beds mean that wheelchair users are also able to join in with the gardening.
