garden and grounds at Woodbury House

Admire the outdoors

Woodbury House is surrounded by an acre of lovely gardens. Our well-maintained lawns, flowerbeds, mature trees and large patio area are a big part of life here. The garden is also home to some of our pets – we currently have badgers and rabbits.

Residents love to relax outdoors and watch the world go by. We also have a summer house that is wheelchair accessible. We regularly serve afternoon tea on the patio when the weather is fine. The landscaped grounds are beautifully maintained and are a pleasure to walk around. In the summer we hold many activities outdoors, including garden parties and barbeques.

FAQ

Can residents do their own gardening?

While many of our residents are happy to sit back and enjoy the garden and the wildlife, some of our more green-fingered residents love to get stuck in. We encourage them to plant flowers and vegetables for all the residents and staff to enjoy. And our raised beds mean that wheelchair users are also able to join in with the gardening.
